MARGARET HUTCHERSON
Jackson, TN: Margaret Manley Hutcherson age 92 passed away December 6, 2021 at Southern Oaks Assisted Living in Henderson.
She was born October 11, 1929 in New Albany, MS, the daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Hazel Thompson Manley. She grew up in New Albany, MS and later moved to Jackson, TN. She attended West Tennessee Business College. She married James Hutcherson on November 28, 1948. He preceded her in death in April 2018. She was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church in Jackson.
She worked for the Tennessee State Planning Commission about forty years before retiring. She also worked for the University of Tennessee Experimental Station in Jackson, part time for an additional twenty years. She enjoyed traveling.
Mrs. Hutcherson is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Bro. Sam McAdams officiating.
