Mrs. Dix passed from this life late Monday night at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was born in Toone and lived all of her life in Hardeman County. Her parents were the late Edward Robinson Rainey and Ollie Belle Young Rainey. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Foster and a granddaughter, Della VanNeste. Mrs. Dix was a retired LPN.
She leaves her son, David Dix of Bolivar; her daughter, Marti Rachele VanNeste of Bolivar; her brother, Edward Rainey of Toone; three grandchildren, Samantha VanNeste, Kimberly Hill and Jessie Alan Dix; and three great-grandchildren, Annabella and Braden Comocho and Alina Dix.
