    Margaret Vaughan Wilson

    September 7, 1947 - February 8, 2022

Margaret Vaughan Wilson, 74, of Bolivar, passed from this life Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Christian Care Center in Bolivar. She was born Sunday, September 7, 1947, in Crump, daughter of the late Truman and Mary Taylor Vaughan, living most of her life in Hardeman County. She was a 1966 graduate of Middleton High School and married William Fate Wilson in May of 1994. He preceded her in death in 2006. She worked at a sewing factory in Henderson and also at Creekmores, and retired from Maxwell's Big Star. In her retirement she enjoyed watching westerns, doing crossword puzzles, and sewing, but received her greatest pleasure from being around her family, cooking for them, playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and decorating cakes for their birthdays. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Forrest Hill Pentecostal Church where she sang frequently. Survivors include a daughter, Dana Borders (Tim, Sr.) of Bolivar; three grandchildren, T.J. Borders (Kia), Tyler and Ally Borders; and three great grandchildren, Carter, Carsen and Harper. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Danny Edward Plunkett in 2019; 3 brothers, Lester, James "Buddy" and Dorris Vaughan; and three sisters, Augusta Mills, Lucille Wiggins and Frances Hodge. Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
