Marshall Keeton

Mr. Marshall Keeton was born September 21, 1927 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late Lannie Keeton and Lula Morgan. Mr. Keeton married Myrtle Josephine Garrison Keeton July 20,1954 and remained married until her death on Friday May 15, 2009. Mr. Keeton departed this life on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Perry County Nursing Home in Linden, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 6 Months, 3 Days.

Mr. Keeton was a Log Truck and Asphalt Driver, served his community as Assistant Road Commissioner and attended the Linden Church of God.

He is survived by a son, Donnie Keeton and fiance, Vannessa Beckwidth ; daughter, Karen Keeton both of Waynesboro,TN; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Poochie) Keeton of Linden, TN, Amicka Gobbell of Waynesboro, TN, Chris Keeton of Lexington, TN and Bryan Keeton of Waynesboro, TN and Avery Gobbell of Waynesboro,TN; great-granchildren, Miriam Monroe , Maizlee Monroe and Mabry-Kate Monroe all of Linden, TN and Bo Keeton; a brother, Lannie Keeton, Jr. of Waynesboro, TN and a very special friend of many years, Carolyn Keeton.


In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Keeton was preceded in death by a son, Clayton Keeton; a brother, N.J. Keeton; two sisters, Dora Lynn and Marcella Hickerson;

Services will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Rick Cottrell and Grant Pavey officiating. Burial will follow in the Keeton Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
