Marta Evon Cummins

Marta Evon Cummins of Collinwood, TN was born March 19, 1942 in Collinwood, TN, the daughter of the late Jim and Zella Lee Brown Cummins. Miss Cummins had worked in furniture manufacturing and was a member of the Collinwood Church of God. She departed this life on Friday, February 18, 2022 in Collinwood, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 10 Months, 30 Days.

She is survived by her niece, Delesea Burleson and husband, Ronnie of Collinwood, TN; great-nephew, Thomas Burleson and wife, Samantha and great-great-neice, Maicee Hanback and husband, Ben. In addition to her parents, Miss Cummins was preceded in death by her companion, Hershel Stults and a sister, Margaret Yvonne Cummins.

Services will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Monday, February 21, 2022 from 10 am to service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ben Hanback, Kurt Holt, Kent Holt, Wayne Brewer, Eddie Brewer and Mark Whitney.
