    Martha A. Moore

    May 18, 1941 - December 16, 2020

    Mrs. Moore, 79, of Springfield, TN and formerly of Hardeman County, passed away Wednesday night, December 16, 2020 at her home. She was born May 18, 1941 in Bolivar to Q. T. and Martha Elorine McKinnie Jackson, and was a graduate of Bolivar Central High School. She married Keith Edward Chilson who passed on July 12, 1964 and they lived in Memphis until his passing. Mrs. Moore worked for Community Health Services for 10 years. She moved to Hendersonville, TN and reared her children there. She was married to David D. Moore in 1993 and they lived in Springfield until her passing. Mrs. Moore enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with her family. Survivors include her husband David D. Moore; a son, Keith Chilson of Murfreesboro; two daughters, Martha Larina "Leigh" Sartin (David) of Springfield and Tammy Jones (Randy) of Nashville; two sisters, Dorothy Vickers and Frankie Webb both of Middleton; seven grandchildren, Joseph Brinkley, Jennifer Sartin-Ryan (Jake) and David Keith Sartin (May), Haley and Joseph Sartin, Thomas Shannon Hinton, and Alaina Brammer; six great-grandchildren, Christian Brinkley, Madison, Macy, and Morgan Ryan, Aiden Walker and David Aaron Sartin . She was preceded in death by husband Keith Chilson; a daughter, Shelby Moore; two sisters, Judy McAlpin and Sarah McCord; three brothers, John, Parnell and infant Hugh Jackson; and a great-grandchild Haleigh Grace Ryan. While visiting or attending services for Mrs. Moore, please consider the following guidelines: * Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person; * Refrain from hugs and handshakes; * When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth; * Wash your hands often; * Avoid touching your face; and * Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
