Martha Lou Nixon Ingle

Martha Lou Nixon Ingle was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on April 1, 1941, the daughter of Dewey and Velvie Pounds Nixon. On May 11, 1978, she was united in marriage to William Boyd Ingle who preceded her in death on September 27, 2018.

Martha worshipped with Southside Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee where she was a member for 40 years. She was also a loyal employee of Garan Manufacturing in Adamsville, Tennessee for 25 years, working as a supervisor. Martha enjoyed just being outside but especially working in her flower beds. Shopping was another great pleasure of hers, but her greatest love was reserved for her family and her church family.

Martha Lou Nixon Ingle departed this life on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the age of 79 years, 7 months, and 20 days. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Gina Barnes and her husband Freddy of Savannah, Tennessee, her step-daughter Denise Pipkins and her husband Tony, also of Savannah, Tennessee, her brother Virgil Nixon of Adamsville, Tennessee, her grandson Justin Farris and her great-grandson Jaxx Farris, whom she loved dearly.

Other than her husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by her sister Clara Bailey, her half-sister Fleeta Humphries, and her half-brother Jim Nixon.
