Mary Carlene Johnson Isbell was born January 29, 1934 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Carl and Mary Lou Wilson Johnson.

Mary was united in marriage to William "Bill" Isbell on January 10, 1959. She retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company. She had attended Curtis Hill Church of God of Prophecy in Bethel Springs, TN when she was able. She enjoyed going to church, traveling, cooking for family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Isbell departed this life on May 27, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 3 Months, 28 Days.

She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Isbell of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, William Keith Isbell of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Joye Holland of Savannah, TN; two grandchildren, Alisha Isbell Clayton and husband Kyle, Megan Isbell; two great grandchildren, Emersyn and Branch Clayton.
