MARY GWIN PERKINS PLUNK
Was born in Kennett, Missouri on January 17, 1957 the daughter of the late Guy T. Perkins and Waymon Martin Perkins Barber.
On October 9, 2002 she was united in marriage to Mike Plunk, who survives.
Mary Gwin lived in Chester County, Tennessee for 55 years and Hardin County, Tennessee for 17 years. She worked as a cook for the Hardin County High School and was a member of Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church, where she was a Sunday School helper for the children's class. Mary Gwin loved to make pictures and travel to The Great Smoky Mountains and Cherokee, North Carolina. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 17 years, Mike of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by her son, Chris Plunk and his wife Jessica of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Sophie Plunk and Ty Plunk; and special cousins, Ward Pugh of Decaturville, Tennessee and Junior Pugh of Reagan, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, I.T. and Molly Perkins and Lee Andrew and Mary Odle Pugh Martin.
