Mary Lee Ervin

Mrs. Ervin passed away Tuesday evening, August 21, 2018 at Pine Meadows Healthcare in Bolivar.

Born in Fayette County on November 28 1934, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Ora Lee Brittan Johnson and after living several years in Shelby County, moved to Hardeman County over 55 years ago. On December 26, 1954, she was united in marriage to Mr. Marvin Arthur Ervin. They were married 44 years at the time of his passing on September 21, 1999.

Mrs. Ervin worked 33 years in assembly at Harmon Automotive in Bolivar and enjoyed involvement with her friends in activities with the Bolivar First Baptist Church. She also was a volunteer with the Bolivar Senior Citizens Center.

She leaves two sons, Tony Ervin of Silerton and Marshall (Karen) Ervin of Senatobia, MS; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by ten sisters and brothers.
