Mary Sue Ricketts

Mary Sue Caldwell Ricketts, age 86, of Middleton, passed from this life Sunday, February 14, 2021.

Mrs. Ricketts was he daughter of the late George Albert and Ruby Hester Caldwell, born in Pontotoc, MS on Wednesday, December 19, 1934. She married Willard R. Ricketts on Christmas Eve, 1954 and they were married for almost 53 years at the time of his death in 2007.

She lived in Memphis from 1954-1991 when she then moved to Middleton. Mrs. Ricketts was a sales associate at Wal-Mart and in her leisure time enjoyed the outdoors and sightseeing.

She leaves two sons, Joseph Ricketts (Kathy) of Middleton and Ronald Ricketts (Sarah) of Memphis; a sister, Betty Jo Elsy of Memphis; two grandchildren, Nena Mongue and Mary Bernard; and three great-grandchildren, Harrison Mongue, William Bernard, Jr. and Hailey Bernard.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Ricketts; and eight brothers and sisters.
