Maurine Kish

Maurine Wiseman Kish of Clifton, TN was born June 1, 1926 in Ogallala, NE, the daughter of the late Harvey Herschel and Leola Maley Wiseman. Ms Kish was an editor and departed this life on February 13, 2021 at Perry County Nursing Home in Linden, Tennessee at the age of 94 Years, 8 Months, 12 Days. She is survived by a sister, Janelle Brown and husband, Kenneth of Tupelo, MS. At her request, her body was cremated.

The Ultimate Sabbath Rest for Maurine W Kish 1926-2021 "Enter into My rest." She must surely have heard Him call. And so on this Sabbath morn, Maurine slipped into eternity. A life lived with ardor for the proper use of the written word, Would now find fresh challenges in her new heavenly home. Not many hours before, a niece sat by her side listening and communicating love and peace. Even in those, now known to be waning hours, her belabored mind would clear. So cleared, she entered into rhyming a poem with her little sister over the telephone. A fitting last bow—even as the final curtain was about to close. A life lived, most of which was in Kingdom work, needed no last hour, frantic departure preparation. The promise of eternal Sabbath rest beckoning, let her reach her hand to His— Which He took with warm assurance, aiding her to step over life’s final threshold. And so the ultimate Sabbath rest of Maurine Wiseman Kish began on February 13, 2021. KB© 2/13/21
