Maynard Monroe Olin was born May 10, 1940 in Bradford, PA the son of the late Charles and Evelyn Stoddard Olin. Mr. Olin departed this life on February 1, 2019 at his home in Enville, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 8 Months, 22 Days.
He grew up in Pennsylvania and worked most of his adult career as a cement truck driver, retiring in 1984. He married Debbie Pfohl on December 31, 1982. After his retirement he spent time buying and selling horses. Since moving to Tennessee he especially enjoyed fishing on the Tennessee River. He was also an avid raccoon and squirrel hunter. He had served as an officer of the Bluetick Breeders and Coonhunters Association for several years and won many awards for his hunting and show dogs. He was a loving husband, father and enjoyed a special relationship with his stepson B.G.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Olin of Enville, two sons Terry Pierce of Vero Beach,FL and William B.G. McEvoy of Enville; four daughters Ronda Skoken of Duke Center, PA, Julie Tinsley of Altoona, PA; Christy Olin of Belfast, NY and Kelley Olin of Olean, NY; two brothers Irvin Olin of Bradford, PA and Dale Olin of Smithport, PA and several grandchildren.
