Michael Burkeens

Michael Doyle Burkeens was born March 8, 1973 in Savannah,TN the son of Doyle and Sherry Burkeens.

He was united in marriage to Sharon Jones on April 8, 2000.

Michael had worked at PCA in Counce. He was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. He was a family man who believed in hard work and providing for his family. He treasured his time spent with his children watching them play ball, shooting guns, or riding 4-wheelers. He enjoyed riding and listening to music, collecting old tools and cars. He cherished the time he spent with his father-in-law, Gerald Jones learning to bar-b-que. Michael was respectful of everyone and spending time with his family was important to him.

Michael departed this life on July 30, 2019 in at the age of 46 Years, 4 Months, 22 Days. He is survived by his wife Sharon Burkeens of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Kayla Burkeens of Adamsville, TN; three sons, Michael Willis and girlfriend Courtney Hollin of Enville, TN, Hunter Burkeens and girlfriend Kieana Price of Adamsville, TN, Kasey Burkeens of Adamsville, TN; parents, Doyle and Sherry Burkeen of Adamsville, TN; two sisters, Amanda Sanders and husband J.C. of Adamsville, TN, Ashley Lipford and companion George Sims of Michie, TN; a brother, Jeff Burkeens and wife Jennifer of Adamsville, TN; nieces, Katlyn Jones, Breanna and Samantha Austin; nephews, Johnny Burkeens and Anthony Austin; and a host of extended family and friends.
