Mr. Bryant passed from this life on Monday morning, March 16, 2020 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Bolivar and lived most all of his life here. His parents were the late Johnnie Leon and Helen Pearl McKee Bryant and he was a 1968 graduate of Bolivar Central High School. Mr. Bryant served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
He worked at Harman Automotive for 20 years and was retired as director of transportation from Roger Henson Trucking in Bolivar. Mike was a member of the Middleburg Baptist Church and had also attended Shandy Baptist Church. In his leisure time, he enjoyed all types of hunting, fishing and landscape photography. As a young man, he enjoyed playing sports especially football and baseball.
He leaves his daughter, Kimberly Bryant Graves and husband, Steven, of Rossville; four grandchildren, Seth, Aubrey, Noah and Elijah Graves; a sister, Barbara Dellinger and husband, Earl, of Bolivar; two brothers, J. W. Bryant of Hernando, MS and Randall Bryant and wife, Gladys, of Middleton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by a niece, Sharon; and a nephew, Gary.
