Mike Kerrigan

Mike Kerrigan departed this life on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the age of 86 years and 10 days. He was born in East St. Louis, Illinois, on August 30, 1932, the son of the late John and Ruth Cole Kerrigan. He was united in marriage to Naomi Scott Smith on November 12, 1989, who survives.

Mike had worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company in Peoria, Illinois for 30 years. He had lived in Savannah, Tennessee since 1985 and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He loved to travel, cook, and to eat.

He is survived by his wife, Naomi Smith Kerrigan of Adamsville, Tennessee; stepson, Duron Smith and his wife Sandra of Selmer, Tennessee; sisters, Pat Adler of Pekin, Illinois and Sharon Shea of Caseyville, Illinois; step grandson, Cody Smith and his wife Billie; step great granddaughter, Madelyn Smith; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel Madeline Abbott Kerrigan.
