    Mindy Shelby

    March 6, 1961 - March 13, 2022

    Mindy Shelby departed this life Sunday, March 13, 2022, at the age of 61 years and 7 days. She was born in Peoria, Illinois on March 6, 1961, the daughter of the late Charles Raymond and Julia M. Sauder Malone. On December 4, 1999,she was united in marriage to Chuck Shelby, who survives. Mindy had previously worked at The Canteen at Caterpillar, The Tropicana in Las Vegas, Nevada, Angelica, and Wal-Mart. She enjoyed puzzles, watching "House Hunters', camping, fishing, and being outdoors until she wasn't able. She was a member of the Savannah Church of God and was faithful to her Lord and God. Her children and grandchildren were her purpose here on earth, and she is now running and singing on them streets of gold. Mindy is survived by her husband, Chuck Shelby of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Bruce Weaver, and Sheila Franks and her husband Justin, all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Austin Franks, Michael Franks, Matthew Franks, Navi Weaver, Ivan Weaver, and D.J. Weaver; sisters, Becky Borroughs and her husband Steve of Pekin, Illinois, Stephanie Hamilton and her husband Danny, and Nancy Malone, all of Creve Coeur, Illinois; brothers, Monty Malone and Kevin Malone, both of Creve Coeur, Illinois; mother in law, Irene Shelby of Savannah, Tennessee; sister in law, Sherry Shelby of Florence, Alabama; and seventeen nieces and nephews, including Shayna Stacy and Levi Stacy, both of Florence, Alabama. In addition to her parents, Mindy was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Bruce Weaver on December 21, 1996; sisters, Mabel "Cookie" Malone and Kathleen Rae Gade; and nephew, Jason Scott Gade. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
