Mollie Lorene Gray

Mollie Lorene Gray of Selmer, TN was born February 18, 1932 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Jess Lee Smith and Minnie Wilson Smith. She was united in marriage to L. A. Gray. Mr. Gray preceded her in death on March 7, 1997.

Mrs. Gray was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved spending time with her family and had a special place in her heart for her grandkids and great grandkids. She enjoyed gardening, tending her flowers, and all kinds of animals, especially dogs. In her earlier years, she enjoyed camping and fishing. Mrs. Gray was a member of Pleasant Site Baptist Church. She departed this life on June 8, 2019 in Jackson, TN at the age of 87 Years, 3 Months, 21 Days.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna Chandler and husband Trent of Stantonville, TN; a son, Dewey Gray and wife Brenda of Bethel Springs, TN; three grandchildren, Jeremy Gray, Brandi Moore, Grayson Chandler; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Kilburn of Adamsville, TN, Bessie Britton of Bethel Springs, TN; a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by four brothers.
