Moneta Lynn Hill

Moneta Lynn Hill was born January 31, 1935 in Dallas, TX the daughter of the late Monty Roy and Georgielynn Estella Vandervilt Stokes.

She was united in marriage to Carl Devon Hill on October 10, 1953. Mr. Hill preceded her in death on January 31, 1989.

Mrs. Hill had previously lived in Longview, Texas before moving to Stantonville. She was the House Mother for Mental Health Mental Retardation clients. She worked with the special needs ministry at Mobberly Avenue Baptist Church in Longview, TX. She loved life. She enjoyed reading, traveling, card games and playing dominoes.

Mrs. Hill departed this life on November 24, 2017 in Stantonville, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 9 Months, 24 Days. She is survived by three sons, Ronnie Hill and wife Kelly, Lynn Hill, John Michael Hill and wife Nancy; two daughters, Debbie Barber and husband James, Pamela Massey and husband Kenny; a brother, Marvin Stokes and wife Tina; 14 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
