Nathan “Charlie” Kephart

Nathan Charles Kephart was born November 12, 1953 in Hohenwald, TN the son of Marjie Lucille Guttery and the late Nathan Bailey Kephart.He was united in marriage to Judy Bratton on June 22, 1974.Mr. Kephart departed this life on August 9, 2019 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 65 Years, 8 Months, 28 Days.

Mr. Kephart was a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church serving his church as grounds keeper, manintance worker and drove the youth bus for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors and farm work.

He is survived by his wife Judy (Bratton) Kephart of Waynesboro, TN; a son, Austin Kephart and wife Julie of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Amy Kephart of Ashland, KY; one grandchild Andrea Kephart, ; three brothers, Jerry Kephart and wife Tina of Collinwood, TN, Jimmy Kephart of Collinwood, TN, David Kephart and Sandra of Waynesboro, TN; a sister, Patricia (Kephart) Clayton and husband Teddy of Waynesboro, TN; and his mother Marjie Lucille Guttery Kephart of Waynesboro srveral nieces and nephews and many close family members and friends.

Services will be held on August 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Craig Mason officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery at Cypress Inn, Tennessee

Visitation begins Sunday August 11, from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and Monday from 8:00 am till 1:00 pm

Pallbearers include: Chason Bratton, Blake Keeton, Derrick Keeton, Jeremy Kephart, Kevin Clayton, Jason Kephart, Daniel Skelton and Colton Holt

Honorary Pallbearers include : Alan Clayton and Steven Kephart.
