Mrs. Nola Mae Weaver, age 73 of Hornsby, Tennessee passed away Tuesday morning, May 12, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Mrs. Weaver was born in Hornsby, where she lived most of her life, July 4, 1941 to the late James Troy and Fannie Mae Grantham. On July 14, 1962, she was united in marriage to Lester "Junior" Weaver, who preceded her in death August 29, 2000. She worked as a homemaker and loved quilting, gardening, and working with flowers. Past residences include Fayette County, where she lived for six and a half years. She was a member of the Pocahontas First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Shields and husband Johnny of Pocahontas; sons, Jimmy Weaver and wife Reba of Hornsby, and Robert Weaver and wife Pam of Bolivar; sisters, Frances Pirtle and husband Jim of Hornsby, Lannie Ingle and husband Wayne of Crump, Brenda Hodum and husband James of Essary Springs; brothers, Bobby Grantham, and Jackie Grantham and wife Vicki, both of Hornsby; sister-in-law, Carolyn Grantham of Toone; grandchildren, Johnny Shields, Jr., Alicia Bass, Justin Weaver, Paige Sain, Maggie Weaver, Natasha Baker, and Brian Baker; and great-grandchildren, Karleigh Shields, Caylie Bass, Addison Sain, Avery Sain, and Max Weaver.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Weaver; and brother, James Ray Grantham.
