Norma Jean Hensley passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, TN.
She is the wife of Harold Hensley, whom she married on September 3, 1993. A homemaker, she was born Sunday, December 12, 1943, in Fayette County, daughter of the late Cecil H. and Learline Green Harris. Her parents moved to Benton county when she was a baby and she had lived in this area for 28 years. Mrs. Hensley graduated Ashland, MS High School in 1962 and enjoyed going to garage sales, watching the hummingbirds, fishing and tending to her flowers. She was a member of Grand Junction First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Hensley of Grand Junction; a daughter, Debbie Turner (Jason) of Batesville, MS; a sister, Geraldine Clayton of Potts Camp, MS; grandchildren, Haley Smith, Ashley Abrams (Howie), Justin Breedlove, Christopher, Zachary and Kelly Stacks; bonus grandchildren, Courtney Howell and Brittney Hudson; great grandchildren, Ben and Colton Abrams, Bethany, Sarah, Chasity and Anna Stacks; bonus great grandchildren, Ian Howell and Elena Miller; a stepson, William H. Hensley (Roxie) of Laramie, WY; and step grandchildren, Jourden, John & Garrett Hensley & Caitlian Barnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Ronnie Glen Stacks and Donnie Lynn Stacks; brothers, Cecil Harris and Henry Harris; and a grandson, Dustin Stacks.
