Norma Joyce Mainers

Joyce Mainers was born September 13, 1930 in Chester County , Tn the daughter of the late Hugh Ellis and Tressie Thomas Mainers. She graduated from Chester County High School and West Tennessee Business College. She lived in Dallas Texas, where she was employed by Kemper Insurance Company retiring after 36 years, and returning to Henderson in 1990. She was a member of the Pleasant Springs Methodist Church. Miss Mainers enjoyed reading and traveling.

Miss.Mainers departed this life on June 19, 2015 in Henderson, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 9 Months, 6 Days.

She is survived by three sisters, Shirley Mainers of Pinson, TN, Faye Suddreth of Killen , TX, Louise McKinnie of Memphis, Tn; two brothers, Clifton Mainers of Henderson, Tn, Hugh A Mainers of Henderson, Tn; seven neices and one nephew, two great neices and seven great nephews.

In addition to her parents, Miss.Mainers was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Hicks, Peggy Mainers; and a brother, Travis Mainers.

Services will be held on June 22, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Bro Josh Cantrell and Kaitlyn Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Springs Cemetery at Deanburg, Tennessee
