Odis Bizzell, 93, of Middleton, passed from this life Monday evening, November 30, 2020 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widower of Iva Pearl Bizzell, who died on September 16, 2019, he was a self employed electrician/plumber, owning and operating Odis Bizzell Electric and Plumbing. He was born Saturday, October 1, 1927 in Middleton, son of the late Joe Lewis Bizzell and Erie Elizabeth McBride Bizzell, lived for about 18 months in Detroit, Michigan and the rest of his life in Hardeman County. He married Iva Pearl Horton on May 7, 1948, and also served his country in the US Army. He enjoyed fishing, doing yard work, guns and being around his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom he considered his joy and delight. Mr. Bizzell was a member of the American Legion and the Middleton Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Rita Ross (Gene) of Middleton; a son, Robert Bizzell (Mary) of Middleton; four grandchildren, Brandon Ross (Jennifer), Kristina Ryder (Jason), Robert Lucas Bizzell and Victoria Bizzell; and five great grandchildren, Cody and Westen Ross, Cooper and Skye Ryder and Talon Bizzell. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Raymond, Joe Mac and Kenneth.
