Ollie Cagle

Ollie Cagle departed this life on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the age of 100 years, 3 months, and 21 days. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee, on January 31, 1922, the daughter of the late Charlie and Elzie Reynolds Whitlow. On December 26, 1941, she was united in marriage to Lowell Cagle, who preceded her in death on August 26, 2007.

“Miss Ollie” will be remembered by many for her ready smile and positive outlook on life. She is well-known for her hundreds of hand knit, custom made Christmas stockings that have ended up in homes all over the world. She loved traveling and camping with husband, Lowell, and playing cards and board games with friends and family. She lived life to its fullest for 100 happy years.

"Miss Ollie" is survived by her son, Steve Cagle of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Jocelyn Fisher of Old Hickory, Tennessee; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Rex Cagle; brother, Wheeler Whitlow; sister, Mable Cagle.
