Ollie W. Holt

Ollie Holt was born August 24, 1933 in Collinwood, TN, the son of the late John Robert and Versie Butler Holt. Mr. Holt departed this life on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at his home near Iron City, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 7 months, 7 days. He was retired after 35 years from Murray Ohio Manufacturing in Lawrenceburg, TN and was a member of Millrock Freewill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was married to Fleeta Mae Ayers April 5, 1958.

He is survived by his wife, Fleeta Mae Ayers Holt of Iron City, TN, daughters, Beverly Diane Hudson and husband, Garry of Westpoint, TN, Shelia Gale Roberts and husband, Dan and Ellen (Ella) Mae Stults and husband, Wayne both of Cypress Inn, TN, grandchildren, Ashley Hudson Mattox and husband, Josh, Sheena Roberts Holt and husband, Brad, Morgan Hudson and wife, Anna, Megan Hudson Prater and husband, Jeremy, Tylan Stults and wife, Briana, Chase Roberts and fiance, Ashley Creasy, Tanner Roberts, Hayden Stults and wife, Katie, Kane Roberts and wife, Sarah, great-grandchildren, Hudson and Reese Mattox, Cooper and Owen Stults, Bentley and Allie Prater, Miles and Noah Roberts, brothers, Rollie Holt of Cypress Inn, TN, Harley Holt and wife, Daffo of Collinwood, TN, Joe Holt and wife, Donna of Ethridge, TN, John Holt Jr. and wife, Peggy of Collinwood, TN, sisters, Dolly Johnson and Polly Parker both of Florence, AL, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Holt was preceded in death by brothers, Benny, Alford, Barney, Waford, and Graford Holt.

Services will be Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in Collinwood Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Pallbearers are Morgan Hudson, Tyler Stults, Chase Roberts, Tanner Roberts, Hayden Stults, and Kane Roberts. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 - 9:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
