Mrs. Ollie Jane Gambrell Rippy was born January 17, 1947 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Dewey and Irene Caperton Gambrell. Mrs Rippy was a homemaker, but had previously worked at Hardees and Duren's Pharmacy. She loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids more than anything in this world. In her spare time, she enjoyed working with her flowers and simply being outside. She was a long time member of Green River Tabernacle. Mrs Rippy departed this life on August 20, 2020 in Columbia, Tennessee making her stay in this life some 73 Years, 7 Months and 3 Days.

She is survived by two daughters, Tina Honn and husband Jesse; Tonya Griggs and husband Jason both of Waynesboro, TN; three grandchildren, Carleigh Griggs, Kenzie Griggs, Brittney Smith and husband Walter all of Waynesboro, TN. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Easton and Brogan Smith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her three sisters, Mable Meadows, Verline Nash and Myrtle Nash.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro with Larry Janes officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors Assisting.
