Oma Jean Roberts was born on August 23, 1931 in McNairy County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Burgie Lee and Eunice Zelphia Dickey Davis.
On March 24, 1957, she was united in marriage to Edwin Roberts, who preceded his wife in death on May 26, 2014.
Oma Jean was a very active member of Pickwick Church of Christ in Counce, Tennessee. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, canning, sewing, reading her Bible, and spending time with her family.
Oma Jean Roberts departed this life on Friday, July 9, 2021 in Florence, Alabama at the age of 89 years, 10 months, and 16 days.
She is survived by her children, Stanley Roberts of Counce, Tennessee, Pamela Wells of Corinth, Mississippi, Jerry Roberts and his wife Nancy of Counce, Tennessee, and Judy Davis of Counce, Tennessee; brothers, Erby Davis and Donald Davis, both of Corinth, Mississippi; sister, Margie Nell Ellsworth of Corinth, Mississippi; grandchildren, Julie Truitt, Monica Fletcher, Vonda Strauss, Josh Davis, Brian Davis, Krystal Dishon, Michael Parker, and Gavin Roberts; 19 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Oma Jean was preceded in death by her siblings, William Davis, Francis Miller, and Robert Davis.
