Pat Whitten was born July 3, 1944 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Mancel Leander and Esther Lee Miller Houston.
She was united in marriage to Ray Whitten. He passed away on February 16, 1992.
Mrs. Whitten loved the Lord! She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church for over 30 years - she was faithful in her attendance and loved helping in the nursery. She had a servant's heart, a special care and concern for the elderly, and a passion for volunteering. She volunteered at Jesus Cares of McNairy County, the kitchen ministry at Lakeview Baptist church and the nursery.
She was fiercely independent. She enjoyed working in her garden, flowers and yard. She took great pride in keeping her house and yard beautiful. Holiday gatherings, boat rides, vacations, shopping with her daughter, and painting/drawing were a few of her favorite things.
