Patrick Mizgala

Patrick Michael Mizgala aka "Dear", age 55, of Mancelona, MI passed away in Pinson, TN on the morning of June 29, 2019.
Patrick was known as the mailman with the colorful jeep and flamingo to many in the Mancelona area. He was a happy individual who wore clothes that were just as colorful as his jeep. He loved his wife, family and friends. Patrick loved to help others and had a heart that was twice as big as he was. He enjoyed building model airplanes, listening to old music, and looking for fossils.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Danette Mizgala of Tennessee, his daughter Christa (Catlin) Justice of Michigan, his three sons Andrew (Jackie) Carpenter of Tennessee, Michael (Ashley) Carpenter of Mississippi, Charlie (Rochelle) Carpenter of Mississippi, his sister Theresa (Ed) Blanchard of Michigan, his brother Nick (Angela) Mizgala of Georgia, his niece Meghan (Gabriel) Zahriyeh of Ohio, his niece Kaitlin Blanchard of Michigan and 11 grandchildren: Laci, Drew, Lexie, Jace, Ryleigh, Gavin, Levi, Kinsley, Noah, Lawson, and Alexander. He was proceeded in death by his parents Richard Paul and Patricia Ann Mizgala.

Family and friends are welcome to join us for a celebration of life held on July 28, 2019 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the American Legion Hall (Bingo Hall) 9850 S Front St, Mancelona, MI. Refreshments and flamingos are provided.

Another celebration of life service will be held August 3rd at 4:00 PM at 35 Willow Drive in Jackson, TN.
