Patsy Pauline Murry

Patsy Pauline Murry was born January 22, 1939 in Crump, TN, the daughter of the late George and Beulah Harris Counce. She was united in marriage to Floyd Allen Murry on September 10, 1960. Mr. Murry preceded her in death on December 25, 2005. She was a member of Safe Harbor Church. She retired from Oscar Meyer in Chicago, IL after 24 years. She was a volunteer for Hee-Haw and Jesus Cares. She was a Christian lady who believed in prayer. Patsy had a passion for writing and singing gospel music. She was also a member of the gospel group, Way Lighters, for many years.

Mrs. Murry departed this life on August 26, 2018 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 7 Months, 4 Days.

She is survived by a daughter, Holly Murry Kennamore and husband Russ of Selmer, TN; a son, Reece Allen Murry of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren: Isabella Murry, Ruston Kennamore, Ryman Kennamore; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Murry was preceded in death by a sister, Josie Kenney; two brothers, Joe and Robert Counce.
