Private services for Paul Edward Russell will be held at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Bolivar. Burial will be in West Memorial Cemetery near Saulsbury, TN. Mr. Russell passed away Saturday night at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born Sunday, January 10, 1954, in Grand Junction, son of the late Charles Edward "Bill" Russell and Mildred Earlene Lowrance Russell, and lived all of his life in the county. He was retired from Glasteel after 34 1/2 years and was a farmer for 12 years. He married Ilene Patterson on August 31, 1973 and enjoyed hunting, going to and watching drag races, horses and dogs. His family describes him as a true 'outdoorsman' who loved his family and grandchildren, but above all else, was known for his love of the Lord. Mr. Russell was a member of Saulsbury Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Russell Bell (Jason) of Bolivar, Amy Hutchins (Chris) of Saulsbury and Erica Young (B.J.) of Sauslbury; two brothers, Steve Russell (Linda) and Dennis Russell (Linda), all of Middleton; two sisters, Carol Ann Caviness (Jimmy) and LaDonna Luker, all of Middleton; and six grandchildren, who were the light of his life, Taylor and Payton Hutchins, Logan and Morgan Bell, Jacob and Rylee Beth Young; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother in law, Benny Luker.
