Paul Edward Lynn, Jr. was born January 25, 1952 in Muskegon, MI. He departed this life on September 5, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 7 Months, 11 Days.
He was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Grace Ann Cochran on September 26, 1970. After four years of serving our country in the U.S. Air Force, he was employed as a Pipefitter and Welder with Local Union #174 for 25 years. After retiring as a Pipefitter and Welder, Paul became a local minister for the United Methodist Church. He served Sitka United Methodist Church in Holton, MI for a year. In 2010, Paul and Grace moved to Tennessee and soon after, Paul began serving Liberty, Corinth and Saltillo United Methodist Churches. Later, he became involved with the Adamsville and Mt. Vinson United Methodist Church congregations. Most recently, Paul was the pastor at Shiloh and Crump United Methodist Churches. He was also a member of the American Legion and Scotts Hill Lions Club. Paul loved the Lord, his family, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of almost 48 years Grace Lynn of Stantonville, TN; daughter, Jodi Johnston and husband Robert of Concord, NC; son, Christopher Lynn and wife Jill of Norton Shores, MI; two granddaughters, Abby and Emma Lynn; father, Paul Edward Lynn Sr.; three brothers: Donald Lynn and girlfriend Pam, Gregory Lynn and wife Dawn, Jeffrey Lynn and wife Marilyn; sister, Debra Beauregard; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws: Dr. Wesley and Janet Cochran, Debbie and Dan Breejen, Lloyd and Cindy Cochran, Joni and David Ryan; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lynn was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Elizabeth Aubain and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Eleanor Cochran.
