Pauline Hopper Franks departed this life on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at the age of 85 years, 9 months, and 15 days. She was born in Mississippi on May 28, 1934, the daughter of the late John and Jewel Banks Hopper. On June 28, 1965, she was united in marriage to Rachel Franks, who preceded her in death on August 4, 2015.
Pauline was employed at Brown Shoe Company for 40 years and retired from Hardin Home Nursing Home in 2006 where she was a housekeeper. She was a member of the Nixon First Pentecostal Church.
Pauline is survived by her son, Larry Harville Sr. of Savannah, Tennessee; step son, Danny Franks of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Larry Harville Jr., David Harville, Tina Rickman, Brandy Cherry, and Kristen Cherry; great grandchildren, Emily Stafford, Anna Kellog, Jacob Styers, Preston Styers, Daniel Harville, Nevaeh Shields, and Ryan Harville; and a sister, Linda Gail Hopper of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Pauline was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Paul Cherry; brothers, Virgil Hopper and JD Hopper; and sisters, Loraine Murphy, Gertie Murphy, and Josie Hopper.
