Peggy Joyce Mauldin King of Selmer, TN was born May 14, 1939 in Shiloh, TN the daughter of the late Elmer Stephen Glover and Annie Mildred Carroll Glover. She was the widow of Billy Mauldin, Sr. and Robert Donald King.
Peggy was a member of Second Baptist Church in Selmer. She worked at Levi-Strauss in Ramer and Connector Castings in Selmer prior to retiring. Peggy loved serving the Lord, going to church, listening to gospel music, and doing things for her family and friends. She enjoyed watching the praise channel 18 Unity Broadcasting in Adamsville and her weekly visits to the nursing home. She departed this life on October 28, 2018 in her daughter's home in Middleton, TN at the age of 79 Years, 5 Months, 14 Days.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Mauldin Glueck and husband Kenny of Middleton, TN; a son, Billy Mauldin, Jr. and wife Jana of Hendersonville, TN; four grandchildrMen, Jenny Mauldin and fiance Zlatan Durmic of Hendersonville, TN, Mallory Mauldin and fiance Jeremy White of Hendersonville, TN; Matthew Mauldin and wife Dian of Newbern, TN, Marcus Mauldin and wife Jackie of Newbern, TN; seven great grandchildren, Abbie Mauldin, Luke Gooch, Alex Gooch, Collin Breedlove, Kaylee Mauldin, Mya Durmic, Ava Durmic; a brother, Danny Glover and wife Norma of Selmer, TN; a special niece, Ruth Ann Glover along with a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. King was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Glover and Charles Glover.
