Peggy Wynne Warriner

Mrs. Peggy Jean Wynne Warriner, age 87 of Memphis, Tennessee, departed this life Monday evening, December 22, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis.
Mrs. Warriner was born in Whiteville, Tennessee July 10, 1927 to the late Albert and Gertrude Jackson Wynne. On November 26, 1953, she was united in marriage to Mr. Raymond L. Warriner, who preceded her in death in September of 1986. She taught 3rd-12th grades for 42 years and was a member of the National Education Association. She was Protestant in faith and loved reading and gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeannine R. Warriner of Memphis; sister, Ruth Aydelott of Arizona; brother, Alfred E. Wynne of North Carolina; thirteen grandchildren; two step-sons, Ray Warriner of Chandler, Arizona, and Chuck Warriner of Morrison, Colorado; nine nephews and three nieces.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan and several brothers and sisters.
Donations made in memory of Mrs. Warriner may be sent to the educational charity of their choice.
