PHILIP D. HOOTEN
was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 22, 1958 the son of JoeAnn Wimbish Hooten Dufrene and the late Keelin Hooten.
On December 28, 1987 he was united in marriage to Lynda Yvonne Bryant, who survives.
Philip was a retired welder and pipe fitter for the UA 760 in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He was of the Church of Christ belief. Philip enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle.
He departed this life on Saturday, August 3, 2019 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 61 years, 2 months and 12 days.
In addition to his wife of 31 years, Lynda Hooten of Michie, Tennessee, he is survived by his mother, JoeAnn Dufrene of Millington, Tennessee; step father, Larry Dufrene of Millington, Tennessee; and one brother, Keelin Hooten, Jr. of Millington, Tennessee.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
