Phyllis Grantham, 70, of Bolivar, departed this life Saturday evening, July 21, 2018 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of Ronnie P. Grantham, who survives, she was a homemaker. She was born November 30, 1947 in Madison County, daughter of the late Roscoe and Graple Carter Hampton and lived all of her life here in the county. She married Ronnie Grantham on June 7, 1966, and was blessed with two sons. She enjoyed being with her family and her church family, reading the Bible and helping her husband around the farm. Her family described her as a wonderful 'prayer warrior'. Mrs. Grantham was a member of Porters Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Michael Grantham (Wanda) of Middleton and Ronnie Grantham, Jr., of Sevierville, TN; 2 sisters, Donna Bomar (Don) of Bolivar and Cathy Rider (Billy) of Florence, AL; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Tyler Bomar Scholarship Fund.
