Polly Ann "Peggy" Dodd

Mrs. Polly Ann (Peggy) Dodd, 77, of Toone, departed this life Friday, August 7, 2020 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Mrs. Peggy was born December 8, 1942 to the late Jasper and Polly Smith. She was united in marriage to Billy Dodd on April 22, 1961, and was a homemaker.

They have four lovely daughters, Mrs. Martha Campbell (Ricky) of Somerville, Mrs. Linda Bain (Johnny) of Bethel Springs, Mrs. Shelia Abdalla (Joey) of Jackson and Mrs. Betty Rhodes (Ronnie) of Henderson. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Robert and Leroy Smith and three sisters, Arvillie, Marylou and Helen. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

The family states, 'she done all she could to help others and loved all her family. She was a wife, a mother, a mamaw, a GG maw and friend. Rest in peace, we will meet again, Love you always'.

When attending visitation or services for Mrs. Dodd, please consider the following guidelines:

* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
