Ramey Winchester Wilson was born March 18, 1929 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Emmett Riley and Nancy Rozettie (Russell) Wilson. Mr. Wilson departed this life on July 23, 2019 in Selmer, Tennessee.
He was united in marriage to Cordie Mae Kiser.
Mr. Wilson was a heavy equipment owner/operator, sawmill owner/operator, auctioneer and farmer.
He is survived by three daughters, Judy Harris (Frank) of McNairy, Joyce Hill (Ricky) of Bethel Springs, Carolyn Jane “Janie” Jones (Paul) of Savannah; two sons, H. Ray Wilson of Eads and Ramey Wilson, Jr. (Barbara) of McNairy; one sister, Martha Crowe-Williams (Roger) of Bethel Springs; one brother Clyde Everett Wilson (Dottie) of Bethel Springs.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a son, Ray Paul Wilson 5/5/2006; two brothers, Infant 1928, Ramon Windol Wilson 12/7/1953; one sister, Mary Jo (Wilson) Maness 3/12/2015.
A private memorial to be held at Refuge Cemetery, McNairy, TN at a later date.
