Randall (Randy) Burks was born March 9, 1958 in Savannah, TN the son of the late Herb Lloyd Burks and Billie Evans Bryan.
Randy attended Pickwick Southside High School and was an all-state basketball player. He attended Shelby State in Memphis where he played basketball. He was an avid sports fan - University of TN Volunteers was his favorite college team, enjoyed fishing and bird hunting, and spending time on the river.
He was a member of West Shiloh Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family.
Randy departed this life on July 13, 2022 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 64 Years, 4 Months, 4 Days. He is survived by his daughter, Brooke Burks of Selmer, TN; son, Bryan Burks of Selmer, TN; step father, Bill Bryan of Shiloh, TN; grand daughter, Meredith Jones; four sisters, Connie Moffett, Lana Hammock, Omie Burks, Brenda Burks; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Burks was preceded in death by a brother, Sidney Burks.
