Randall "Slick" Bryant

Randall "Slick" Bryant, 77, of Middleton, passed from this life Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Pine Meadows Healthcare Center.

The widower of Gladys Bass Bryant, who died on May 14, 2021, he was retired from Dover Elevator, where he had worked for 40+ years, now known as Thyssen-Krupp. He was born Thursday, September 21, 1944, in Bolivar, son of the late Johnnie Leon Bryant and Helen McKee Bryant, living all of his life here. He married Gladys Bass on November 10, 1967, and was a devoted husband and father to his family. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, mowing the grass and hunting, but especially loved anything to do with his grandchildren. Mr. Bryant loved a good card game and being around his family. He was a Mason and was active in his church, Reaves United Methodist Church and helped take care of Reaves Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Holly Williams (Marshall) of Franklin and Gina Lowe (Phillip) of Oakland; two sons, Kenny Bryant (Betsy) of Middleton and Greg Bryant of Humboldt; a brother, Johnny Wayne Bryant of Hernando, MS; a sister, Barbara Dellinger (Earl) of Bolivar; 6 grandchildren, Lauren Keller (Brian) of Middleton, Maloree Smith of Atlanta, GA, Tanner Smith of Cookeville, Shoaf Williams of Hobe Sound, FL, Tyler Lowe of Oakland and Preston Smith of Medina; and one great grandchild, River Keller of Middleton. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gary Bryant in 2019, a daughter, Sharon Wheeler in 2005 and a brother, Mike Bryant in 2020.
