Mr. Grantham passed from this life on Wednesday evening, May 27, 2020, at Bolivar General Hospital. He was the son of the late Leo Gordon Grantham and Dorothy Mae Jernigan Grantham.
A native and life-long resident of Hardeman County, he attended Hornsby Baptist Church as a youth and had worked over 20 years as head sawer for Howell & Sons Lumber Company. Blessed with a happy disposition, he was a hard worker, dependable and looked forward to what he considered the the highlight of his day - spending time with his grandson.
He leaves his son, Randy Grantham and his fiance', Angel Thurmond, along with their son, Zayden Noah Grantham, of Selmer; two sisters, Patricia Evans of Hornsby and Brenda Luker (Mike) of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Leo Grantham of Hornsby and Steven Grantham of Murfreesboro; four nieces and nephews, Torrey Ervin, Kenneth Luker (Amber) and Tiffaney Luker, all of Murfreesboro and Tonya Evans of Hornsby; and five great-nieces and nephews, Eli Luker, Rylee Barrett, Savannah Luker, Landon Ervin and Kensley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Sue Grantham; and a great-niece, Jordyn Luker.
