RANDY BEECHAM
Henderson, TN: Randy Don Beecham age 68 passed away September 3, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital, Bartlett, TN.
He was born February 23, 1950 in Henderson, the son of the late Bailey Eugene and Lodie Estes Cherry Beecham. He graduated from Chester County High School in 1968. He married Carolyn Yvonne Hughes, January 9, 1970. They were married forty-eight years.
After high school, he worked as a mechanic at his family’s business Beecham’s Repair Shop in Montezuma. He began selling cars at Bolton Ford in the early 80’s and in 1985 he moved to Bolton’s Yamaha Store in Jackson for a short time and then became manager of Lifsey’s Boat Land in Jackson. In 1990 he opened his own business, B & B Outdoors in Montezuma. He moved B & B to Henderson at its present location in 1996. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. In 1984 he was State Champion in the Bass Fishing Competition.
Mr. Beecham is survived by his wife, Carolyn Beecham, of Henderson; a son, Chad Beecham of Henderson and a daughter, Tracy Beecham Lamey and husband Adam of Conway, AR; three grandchildren, Adalyn Mae Lamey, Hugh Clayton Lamey and Bailee Marie Beecham; a brother, Roy Gene Beecham and a sister, Carolyn Ann Higgins both of Henderson.
Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with David Moore officiating.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 12:00 Noon Saturday until service time.
