Rayburn "Ward" Lott of Spring Hill, TN formerly of Enville, TN was born December 16, 1930 the son of the late Hardie O. Lott and Hetty Gaddy Lott Helton. Mr. Lott departed this life on November 8, 2019 in Spring Hill at the age of 88 Years, 10 Months, 23 Days. He was united in marriage to Juanice Mae Browder on December 20, 1952.
Mr. Lott was a 1948 graduate of Adamsville High School. He retired as a Xray Technician after 30 years of service from Veterans Administration Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force with a rank of Airman 2nd Class and served in Germany during the Korean Conflict. During his lifetime, Mr. Lott lived in Ypsilanti, MI, Granville, TN, Lebanon, TN, and most recently Spring Hill. He was a member of Ypsilanti Assembly of God Church in Ypsilanti, MI and Carthage Church of God in Carthage, TN and served on the Elder Board at both churches. He had a heart for missions and regularly supported missionaries financially. His special interests were his family. He was an awesome husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Juanice Mae Lott of Spring Hill; a daughter, Belinda K. Perry of Franklin, TN; a son, Kelvin Ray Lott and wife Tammy of Lake Orion, MI; eight grandchildren, Shaun Perry of Ocean Springs, MS, Kristen Perry of Spring Hill, TN, Nathan Lott and wife Whitney of Bellbrook, OH, Staci Schober and husband Dylan of Dayton, OH, Cameron Kester and wife Andrea of Fairborn, OH, Seth Kester and wife Sarah of Oxford, MI, Kirstin Zeleney and husband Adam of Northport, AL, Marissa Kester of Lake Orion, MI; 14 Great Grandchildren; a half-brother, Johnny Edward Helton and wife Billie of Selmer, TN; a host of extended family and friends.
Mr. Lott was preceded in death by his parents, Hardie O. Lott and Hetty Gaddy Lott Helton; his stepfather, Andrew Helton; three sisters, Hazel Massengill, Opal Sipes, Wana Mae Carpenter; three brothers, Hardie O. Lott, Jr., Roy Bervill Lott, and James Calvin (JC) Lott.
