REGINA MORRISON EARNEST

Henderson, TN: Regina Carol Morrison Plunk Earnest age 66, passed away January 21, 2019 at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born January 12, 1953 in Henderson, the daughter of Mary Imogene Smith Morrison Harris and the late Richard Morrison. She attended Chester County Schools. She married David Plunk in 1969. They made their home in Henderson. She worked in several places in Jackson. She was devoted to her children, cooking, gardening, and canning. She married Ray Earnest of Hickory Valley. They were married thirty-eight years. They made their home at Hickory Valley where she loved to garden.

She operated Karlee’s Bar-B-Que in Grand Junction until her health declined. She was diagnosed with kidney failure and had made her home at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation for the past four years.

Mrs. Earnest is survived by two sons, Bryan Plunk of Memphis and Brandon Plunk of Lexington; two grandchildren; Karlee Plunk and Braden Plunk; her mother, Imogene Morrison Harris and a brother, Ricky Morrison of Henderson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday.
