Regina Marie Skaggs

Regina Marie Pigg Skaggs of Cypress Inn, TN was born April 11, 1977 in Florence, AL. She married Gary Dewayne Skaggs September 20, 1977 and he preceded her in death July 3, 2009. Mrs. Skaggs was employed at Old Sawmill Cafe, Killen, AL and departed this life August 31, 2017 in an automobile accident in St. Florian, AL at the age of 40 Years, 4 Months, 20 Days.

She is survived by a daughter, Gwendolyn Brook Skaggs of Collinwood, TN; stepsons, Scotty and Skyler Skaggs both of Collinwood, TN; father and step-mother, Paul and Kym Pigg of Cypress Inn, TN; mother, Nancy Ferguson Murphy of Florence, AL; step-grandchildren, Lean, Harley and Daniel Skaggs; brothers, Joshua Pigg, wife, Jesse of FL, Jonathan Pigg, wife, Crystal of Cypress Inn, TN, Andrew Pigg, wife, Brittney of Collinwood, TN, Kansas Jackson of US Navy; sisters, Delaina Reeves of Cypress Inn, TN, Ann Margaret Murphy of FL; grandparents, Arlieand Zella Pigg of Cypress Inn, TN; step-grandmother, Patricial Wright of Cypress Inn, TN; great-grandmother, Ruia Pigg of Collinwood, TN.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by grandparents, James and Margaret Ferguson and great-grandfather, Frank Pigg.

Services will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Mike Justice and Richard Bane officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Matthew Hendrix, Alex Skaggs, David and Donald Helton and Kameron and Kris Howard. Honorary pallbearers will be Benjamin Pigg and Henley Moore.

Visitation will be Monday, September 4, 2017 from 6 to 9 pm and Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
