Rex Frazier of Cumberland City, TN, formerly of Hohenwald, TN, was born December 31, 1921 in Hohenwald, TN, the son of the late John and Sally Dugger Frazier. He was united in marriage to Annie Gertude Whitehead on December 31, 1941 and she preceded him in death on August 22, 2019.
Mr. Frazier was a retired crane operator and of the Baptist faith and departed this life on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee at the age of 98 Years, 6 Months, 9 Days.
He is survived by a son, Albert Frazier of Cumberland City, TN; a daughter, Wanda Tittle of Somerville, AL; 7 grandchildren, April Rumley, Tracey Babbitt, Tommy Frazier, Jay Wilson, Kenneth Tittle, John Frazier and Robin Roy; 24 Great-Grandchildren; 20 Great-Great-Grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by sons, Carmel Cleveland and John Robert Frazier; a grandchild, Sylvia Frazier; brothers, Herman, Ward, Guy, Verlon and William Ross Frazier and a sister, Fannie Rose Frazier.
Services will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 3:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Glenn Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Skelton Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation will be Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 3 pm to 7 pm and Sunday, July 12, 2020 from 1 pm to service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Frazier, Jerrid Keeton, Jessey Keeton, John Frazier, Kenneth Tittle and Michael Wilson.
