Richard Carl Bourne

Mr. Bourne, age 80, of Grand Valley Lakes, passed from this life on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at his home.
The widower of Cathie Joyce Bourne who died July 20, 2021, he was the son of the late Franklin Gilbert and Eloise King Bourne. He married Mrs. Bourne on January 7, 1984. A member of Porter's Creek Baptist Church, he was a truck driver for Roger Henson Trucking.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Lawanda Kay Vickers; and a brother, Robert Franklin Bourne.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Carl Bourne, Jr (fiancé, Christy Smith) of Cave City, KY and Shane Christopher Bourne (wife, Lauren Sinquefield Bourne); one sister, Ruby Ann Applegate of Hot Springs, AR; grandchildren, Ashlee Savannah Howell (husband, Jason Douglas Howell), Allison Hope Lax (husband, Evin Riley Lax), Ellie Jan Bourne, Jere Lynn Bourne, Blake Hunter Bourne and Cody Dewayne Bourne; and great-grandchildren, Carson Cale Howell, Collier Reid Howell, Isabella Hope Lax and Paisley Riley Lax.
