Rickey Matlock was born September 5, 1953 in Corinth, MS the son of the late R. C. Matlock and Frances Teague Cheshier.
He was united in marriage to Linda White on November 2, 1973.
Rickey was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed training horses and dogs, hunting, and fishing with friends. He loved a good meal surrounded by his family. He was a character. His personality would keep you laughing. He could tell you the funniest stories without cracking a smile.
Rickey departed this life on August 22, 2020 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 66 Years, 11 Months, 17 Days. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Matlock of Ramer, TN; three daughters: Rita West and husband Phillip of Stantonville, TN, Renee Bargas and husband Brian of Bethel Springs, TN, and Robin Kiestler and husband Hunter of Bethel Springs, TN; five grandchildren: Will, Case, and Raegan Bargas, and Halle and Harper Kiestler, all of Bethel Springs, TN; two nephews, Randy Mullins and family and Lance Ingle and family; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Rickey was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ingle, and a sister, Wanda Mullins.
